Who this policy covers
This policy explains what information K&R Somerville Concrete Construction collects through this website, how we use it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. We're a concrete contractor based in Somerville, MA, and this site exists so homeowners can learn about our work and get in touch about a driveway, patio, slab or other job.
It applies to every page of the site, from the home page to the service and city pages, and to the information you send us through the site. It doesn't cover other websites we link to, which have their own policies.
Information you give us
When you fill out our quote form or write to us, we collect what you choose to send. That's usually your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property and a description of the job, such as a cracked driveway or a patio you want poured.
Our contact form is run by an outside form service, so what you type into it passes through that service before it reaches us. If you call us at (617) 284-0921 or email us instead, we keep the details you give us the same way.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours may collect basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device, the pages you looked at, how you got to the site and a general location based on your IP address. We use this to see which pages people find useful and to fix pages that don't work well.
This information may come from analytics tools and cookies, which are small files a website stores in your browser so it can remember a visit or count traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work for reading about our services and contacting us.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to reply to your request, set up a visit, give you an estimate and do the work if you hire us. We may also contact you about a job we're doing or have done for you, for example to schedule a return visit.
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that help us run the site and the business, such as our form and website providers, when the law requires it, or when you've asked us to.
How long we keep it
We keep contact and job details for as long as we need them to answer you, complete your project and keep ordinary business records for taxes and any warranty questions. When we no longer need them, we delete them or keep them in a form that no longer identifies you.
Analytics information is kept in summary form and is used to understand how the site is used overall, not to track any one person.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also tell us to stop contacting you, and we will, unless we still need to reach you about a job that's underway.
Depending on where you live, state law may give you more rights over your information. We'll honor any request the law requires, and we may need to confirm who you are before we act on it so we don't hand your details to someone else.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to keep the information you send us safe and limit who can see it to the people who need it to handle your job. No website or email system is completely secure, so please don't send payment card numbers or other sensitive details through the form.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging work on their homes and property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our site or the way we work changes. The current version is always the one on this page.
Questions or privacy concerns
If you have a question about this policy or want to make a request about your information, reach us through our contact page or call (617) 284-0921. We'll look into it and reply as soon as we can.
